A fine tuned tallow facial balm featuring nature's most nourishing plants and resin. Grass-fed tallow is slowly whipped with unrefined shea butter, cottonwood bud infused extra virgin olive oil and calendula infused jojoba oil. These oils and fats were chosen for their structural similarity to the human sebum which allows for more effective nutrient absorption. Grass-fed tallow is rich in vitamins A, D, E and K, essential fatty acids and antioxidants. This formula is over 50% tallow!
The properties of cottonwood (poplar) bud resin, also known as Balm of Gilead, include salicin (anti-inflammatory), terpenes (anti-premature aging), phenolic compounds (stabilize free-radicals), malic acid (humectant, speeds cell turnover, and balances pH)
Balm of Gilead also naturally and subtly scents this balm with an intoxicating smell like resinous caramel.
Organic and/or foraged whole plant extracts of calendula, violet, horsetail and chamomile were all chosen for their soothing, healing and anti-acne properties.
