The scent of spring on your skin. Not only does this balm smell heavenly (like resinous caramel), it's medicinally powerful. In our region of the Pacific Northwest, we harvest from the species Populus balsamifera var. trichocarpa otherwise known as the Black Cottonwood. The buds become resinous and sticky in late winter. Balm of Gilead has been in use since biblical times for minor pain relief, arthritis, its anti-bacterial properties and skin soothing affects. A truly special balm that must be wildcrafted to enjoy.
Uses- massage into sore muscles, chapped skin, stiff joints, minor wounds, or after shaving.
Ingredients- cottonwood bud infused extra virgin olive oil*, shea butter*, PNW sustainably harvested beeswax
